Vaerven

 Vaerven is a concept idea of mine for a fantasy world based not on the Medieval, but on the Late Antiquity period.
 Since setting itself is not very heroic and not very high on magic, characters were kept in more realistic proportions. Making it with classic techniques like pencils and ink was also a deliberate choice.

 Humans (the most powerful human nation is based on Late Roman Empire, though in this reality it's in far better shape than its historical counterpart):

  Elves (not based on any exact human culture, but they do have Bronze Age designs incorporated in their visual style to make them looking more ancient than other people):
