Astromancer
A commission done for an original character. I like design of his costume. It has a very strong comic book feel and made working at this piece a real fun.

Cyberpunk soldier
A Russian spec-op themed cybernetic soldier. Not a new piece, but I like how it turned out, especially her outfit.

Robo girl
An original character, though inspired by Transformers The Animated and Transformers Prime series.
Idea was to make this toon looking like she was indeed a part of the animated show.

Miss Galaxy
This one was a fun thing to do. Intention was to make something with a classic comic book stylisation, down to simplified colors, color halftones and, most important, Kirby dots!
Vaerven
Vaerven is a concept idea of mine for a fantasy world based not on the Medieval, but on the Late Antiquity period.
Elves (not based on any exact human culture, but they do have Bronze Age designs incorporated in their visual style to make them looking more ancient than other people):
Since setting itself is not very heroic and not very high on magic, characters were kept in more realistic proportions. Making it with classic techniques like pencils and ink was also a deliberate choice.
Humans (the most powerful human nation is based on Late Roman Empire, though in this reality it's in far better shape than its historical counterpart):
A concept and a character sheet for an NPC. A very short, fae-like creature:
Orks (they are based on Scythians and Sarmatians, a steppe nomadic people):
And ork facial types:
Human Steppe dweller:
And a rough map of the setting:
Urban sorcery
Some time ago I went with an idea for comic book inspired urban fantasy characters performing various classic DnD schoools of magic, but in a modern times.
Those weren't made or any publication. Idea was to have fun with halftones and inking. And obviously, it wasn't supposed to look realistic.
Urban sorcery: Necromancy:
Urban sorcery: Conjuration:
